Speaking of V, I just happened to catch the "re-imagining" of V on ABC. So far, it's kind of eh. As I told
right, it felt much more rushed than the original, which had a nice TV-movie-sized block to fill. For a pilot of a weekly series, this one had too much exposition to cram into an hour. It also feels doubly derivative: the "rebel teenager" character even mentions the resemblance to Independence Day, which itself borrow from V.
Oh well, Tuesdays are one of my off nights, so I may actually tune in. At least Elizabeth Mitchell has gotten work while LOST is on hiatus, and nice to see Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk from "Firefly" working together too.
