Somehow I managed to oversleep my alarm by almost two hours this morning (no separate knob; it was the AM/PM). Had I woken up ten minutes earlier, I could have avoided getting my car towed. Of course, my luck wasn't that good. At least the impound lot is within walking distance of my place. This is now the second time this has happened. I may have to start setting redundant alarms on the nights I park there. Also fortunately, my bosses are in Korea this and next weeks, so it doesn't really matter what time I get in to work.

Yesterday I finally made it to the MD Renaissance Festival for the last day of the season. I made sure to get the steak on a stake like Rebecca suggested. I stayed for a while and caught a bunch of different acts that I missed last time, when I was hanging out with

nyctea. I thought about buying one of the cool-looking mugs, like the wooden or pewter kind, but they were more expensive than I expected. I also ran into a few people that I wasn't expecting to see and were definitely surprised to see me.
