Hmmmm... Apparently, a good way of getting out of a briefing presentation in downtown D.C. is to get dressed in the dark. Maybe Kyla's Badly Dressed Co-worker is on to something.

I've really gotta stop letting mmytacism talk me into playing Scrabble at 12:30 AM, because I royally suck at it, and I'm always dead tired. Or, she's just awesome. ;)

I'm most likely taking off tomorrow and going home to PA. Mom is having a minor operation right about now, and she asked me to come home, just in case.

If I'm really lucky, the set of strings I ordered last week will be delivered here before tomorrow, and I can have them for the weekend. Oh! That reminds me, I finally found the first violin part to Strauss' "Don Juan" that I thought I'd thrown out. It was in an old folder, right where it was supposed to be.

It's about a 3.5-4 hour drive. (I drive "like a granny" according to weirddave, so it takes me longer.)
