Friday Five

For the first time ever, the Friday Five:

1. What's the highest you've ever been (read that which ever way you wish)?
Masada, maybe? I don't know the elevation there, but it's gotta be higher than the mountains of PA. Never mind. Looks like the highest I've ever been is 2700', or whatever that mountain near home is.

2. Of what achievement are you most proud?
Getting my pilot's license, probably. Fat lot of good that's done me recently, given that I haven't exercized it in over a year now. =(

3. What is the most expensive thing you own that is NOT a car or a house?
My violin. This should come as a shock to no one.

4. What did you do for your eighteenth birthday?
Knowing me, probably nothing. It was between senior year and college, so maybe I hung out with my friends at the time.

5. What is your favourite fact?
I can't think of one offhand. Wow, I suck at these.

I think the height of Masada is probably negated by the fact that it's located at the lowest point on earth.

A quick google shows it as 190 feet above sea level (1500 ft above the Dead Sea). So, see, Mike, not all for naught.

Well, it's not worth more than most cars, but it will hold value better. Somewhere between that and, say, computers or flat-screen TVs.
