Missed Opportunities
Aug. 11th, 2005 12:18 pmSo, for the last couple of months, I've had to take alternate routes home from work due to the construction on the B-W Parkway right inside the city line. One day when coming up Ritchie Highway (MD 2), in Brooklyn Park of all places, I noticed a concrete barrier holding back part of a small hill. Along with the usual incomprehensible graffiti, someone had painted a giant Meatwad, from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force". He wasn't quite the right shape, more triangular than round, and frowning. I kept thinking that I should take a picture of it and maybe send it in to the Adult Swim guys.
Sure enough, someone must have decided they didn't like graffiti, because I drove past yesterday evening and the whole thing had been painted over. Oh well.
That's the best I have to share; it's been a slow week. This weekend could get interesting, however.
