Dude, I'm Getting a Dell

Yeah, I know it's stupid, and clichéd, and hasn't been their slogan in years. But eat me, I'm excited! =P I put in an order on Wednesday for a new computer from Dell. They were running a special on the 4700-series, essentially for small businesses, but the thing that made the offer so good was the free LCD panel monitor. So I got a Pentium 4 3.0GHz with half a GB of RAM, DVD drive and CD burner. I'm a little apprehensive about it because I specified the "integrated video" option instead of an add-on card, in the hopes that I can buy a white-box one and install it myself. Their on-line manuals say that the motherboard should have all the appropriate slots, but the Chinese guys over at the local shop tell me it may not. Anyway, Dell says it just shipped yesterday, and it's coming to my office, so it'll be here maybe Monday or Tuesday.

You should be able to add another card in. I think you made the right choice.
