More Music Talk??
Feb. 22nd, 2005 08:45 amAs if I didn't have enough people to talk about music stuff with/to, my friend count has reached prime-number status with
lehaha3586. She's a violin student at Peabody and apparently we've shared the same haunts without yet running into one another. Welcome!
Last night we read through the Strauss and Wieniawski concertos, without the soloists. Neither one is too hard, except for a strange insert into the Strauss for the 2nds that makes it even harder than what was there originally. I think I'll just play the part as written and hopefully no one will notice. I have to say, though, it's really funny hearing Jason sing the solo horn part, making little horn noises at the same time. =D
Durrr.. I keep forgetting: Our concert is coming up at the end of next week. You all should come, especially those halfway across the country.
