Food-Related Entry
Jul. 7th, 2004 08:43 pmI was looking in one of my cupboards for a particular pan the other night when I noticed a strange smell. It turned out to be a pair of onions I'd forgotten all about, in the back of the cupboard. Then tonight, I decided to try going to the local Whole Foods instead of the Giant, because the former is closer and I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I'd never seen so many soy and organic products in my life. Were it not for the healthier-looking produce, I'd probably never go back there. They did have frozen Thai and Indian meals, which I thought was pretty cool. When I got everything home, I opened up the vegetable crisper to discover a few carrots and half a cabbage that had probably been in there six months.
I think I need to spend more time in the kitchen. And I still don't have anything to make for dinner.
