Enough with the music talk!

That rehearsal last night I kept talking about? Complete waste of my time. Besides the concertmistress and I, the only other violinists who showed up were the principal second, the woman who organized it, and one other person. Pretty dismal, given that there's at least 10 other people in the section, most of whom (IMHO) need more help than I do. We did get to inaugurate the orchestra's brand-spanking-new office, which we celebrated with sparkling apple juice.

I wouldn't be so annoyed if it were just about the time-wasting. There's the VCR and missing Lost stuff, plus I had to cancel this week's lesson because of the practice. I may have to cancel next week too, depending on what's going on with scout1222's visit to the area.
