1) I've had my private pilot license since 2002, and used this name in several other online communities. It just made sense to keep it. 2) Since I was 11 or 12, so a long time. =) 3) No, I'm actually an engineer with a government contractor. A good job to pay the bills while I get to do what I like.
2) long time is good :) Did you want to play violin even then? Or were you told you had to play? Have you always played? Or did you put it down for a while and pick it back up again?
whoohoo for more volunteer musicians!! (though I figured that was the case if you're still playing now *chuckle* I'm just looking for questions to ask ;) )
Neat. I was an Engineering major for all of one semester. I was interested in Electrical Engineering. Loooong story behind that. Ultimately left EE because I really wasn't up to fighting a very strong anti-woman bias at the school I'd transfered into. But a woman of many interests isn't left majorless for long and I rapidly found a home in Anthropology, in which I ultimately obtained my B.S. But what do I do now? :P Software development...HAH.

2) How long have you been playing violin?
3) Is music your work? And if not, what do you do?

I know the feeling. Sometimes it's just, "uh, went to work, came home, did jackshit."
