Apr. 12th, 2006 09:50 amI took my brother's advice and signed up for a Flickr account. I figure it'll be a good place to off-load the Israel pictures from the Imagestation account, and I can post any pics I take while I'm in Korea.
I went to both An Die Musik and Barnes & Noble last night trying to find a recording of the Shostakovich 10th. The former didn't have any, but B&N had about four. I opted for the Philly/Ormandy double release with Symphony #4, even though I may never listen to the other piece. Maybe now I should think about getting a MP3 player for the trip, so I can enjoy #10 over and over on the plane ride.

Date: 2006-04-12 04:07 pm (UTC)You could always get an MP3 player for your trip and then sell it on eBay when you get back. If you get one, I'd suggest you get at least 4-6 GB of storage, and you might want to think about getting a HD-based player if you have a lot of music to take with you. Something like a 4 GB iPod Nano will give you a few days' worth of music, enough to get you to Korea and back.
