Four octaves? *bows in reverence*

I've decided I hate fourth position almost as much as I hate second position. Okay, more. Ow.

No bowing necessary, it just takes getting used to your fingers being really close together. Also, any position involves getting your left elbow around gradually, so you can get your hand above the fingerboard.

I've seen 4-octave scales and arpeggios in G, A, B, and C, but by that point you're just putting your fingers in rosin.
