So, I get these e-mails from the Jewish Student Association at Hopkins, even though I'm not now, nor have I ever been a student there. I used to go to events there back when I was involved with the a cappella group, and my friend Charles added me to the e-mail list. A few months ago, he turned it over to another student. Periodically, there's an item asking for people who were interested in forming a graduate a cappella group to e-mail the current list maintainer.
After last week's experience with the Chizuk Amuno group, I took it upon myself to e-mail the list maintainer to tell her that there was this other group looking for members.
Then I get today's e-mail: "Interested in forming a grad student a cappella group? E-mail Mike at [my address].
