Picture Post!
Nov. 3rd, 2005 10:54 amYes, I'm that lazy, just getting around to posting pictures from the weekend now. I doesn't help that most of them came out very dark and required much post-processing.

Taken from my orchestra seat, at MD Hall for the Creative Arts on Saturday. That's Chris Nole, the piano player, in mid-step. I think the guy down in the house was one of the promoters, and the guy off to the right was with the sound company.

From left, Jim Horn (woodwinds), Bill Danoff (guitar/vocals), Mollie Weaver (vocals), and Chris again. All of these guys have performance résumes a mile long: Bill co-wrote "Take Me Home, Country Roads", and Jim has performed with everyone from the Beatles (individually) to Sinatra, Garth Brooks, Eric Clapton...

Of course I'd take a picture of the sound equipment. ;)

Close up on the FOH console, a 48-channel Midas Siena.

Shot of the band (without orchestra) performing Starland Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight".

The empty stage at the Jim Rouse Theater in Columbia on Sunday.

Shot from my seat on stage, during the intermission. The violins were right next to the bass player (in the busy shirt), with his monitor right in our ears.
Sorry about the lousy quality, and lack of self-portraits. Maybe some pictures other people took came out better, and they'll send out copies.
