A Rare Saturday Entry

av8rmikeStupid Cingular. On the one day when I actually had a bunch of calls to make, the system has been hosed most of the day. I keep getting "System Busy" every time I try to call anyone. No one can call me either, it just goes straight to voice mail. I had to call Mom this morning on my landline (good thing I never cancelled long distance) and Deb to find out about tonight's seder requirements. I just cam back from the grocery store and picked up some grape & apple juices, and some dessert-type things.

Leah's concert at Peabody last night. It was the first time I'd ever heard Belshazzar's Feast, and it was pretty cool. My high school music teacher first told me about it probably 10 years ago, and I'm just hearing it now. The Franck D minor symphony was OK, too, it's just not one of my favorite pieces. I just couldn't stay around all night because Leah was hosting her family and I wanted to go to bed at a reasonable hour.
It looks like it's going to be rainy tonight. Too bad I didn't spend more time outside, it was pretty nice.
