So now we're at Panic Level Orange. I like to think of it this way:

Almost in response to the new security level, I couldn't get within two blocks of my house on the way home because of "police activity." They wouldn't let me through the caution tape just to go home or even tell me what it was, citing, "need to know" and "watch the news." As I invoke Full Paranoia Mode, I wonder what Panic Level Red will look like. Will there be armed guards posted to every road into the city, asking, "papers, please"? Will it be time to crack each others' heads open and feast on the goo inside?  Almost certainly yes.
