av8rmikeI must be out of my fucking mind... I'm getting up at the ass-crack of dawn Saturday morning for a 7:45 flight to Chicago. I only know three or four of the other people going. I don't know my way around the city at all. I don't know who's going to be at any of the events I want to go to. I'm afraid I'm going to blow all my money on cab fares because I won't understand the transit system. I'm also afraid that since I have a late flight, I'll be sitting around for hours with nothing to do.
Usually I'm excited when I get to travel. Why does this weekend make me feel like I'm cowering in the corner like a scared cat?
ETA: Getting 3 cc's of a corticosteroid injected directly into one's flexor tendon hurts like a bitch.
