av8rmikeBoy, what a crappy football weekend. Sure, the Ravens managed to beat the Saints at home, which was something no other team has done this season, but what the hell has happened to the Steelers? They're on yet another of their inexorable slides downward into oblivion. How come there are certain teams they just can't beat, no matter how bad the opponent is? The Raiders, who were supposed to go 0-16 this season?
Also, due to all the concerts I had this weekend and all the running around, I managed to start like three players on my fantasy team who were on a bye week. That's probably the end of my 5-game winning streak, but I think week 8 was going to kill me anyway.
Anyway... speaking of concerts, they all seemed to go well. Sunday's benefit for the orchestra was pretty poorly attended, much worse than it should have been for performers of that caliber. Mom came in for the day to see it and talk to the promoters. She absolutely loved it. I just wish![[info]](https://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
Jamie could have been there, too.
