Good Day So Far...

One of my co-workers: You got a FedEx package. I left it on your chair.

It was the Alton Brown plunger set that I'd just ordered Monday morning! That was pretty fast, although they were only shipping it from someplace in Virginia.

I have been buying a lot of random kitchen stuff recently, like the Emsa Perfect Beaker a few weeks ago, the probe thermometer, pots and pans, and last Saturday morning I went to the local restaurant supply store looking for half-sheet pans. There must be a support group for this sort of thing.

No lesson this week, because of my crazy rehearsal schedule and this Saturday's concert. It's a bit of a pity, but I haven't done enough practicing for it anyway.

Ice cream today in the conference room!

We have 'em, but I don't seem to use them much. And they're not dishwasher safe, so I have to wash them by hand, which annoys me.

That might have annoyed me, too, back when I owned a dishwasher.

Like I said, I don't know if I need them, but I'm beginning to think I need a support group.

I'll be your support group. With the probe thermometer and the salt containment unit and the frying-pan-steaks.

I'll be your support group

Ohhh this sounds so double entendreish.

Nuh-uh!
