Never mind that it was two weeks ago, but I got an invite code to join the Dreamwidth open beta. It's only natural, since I am a part of the styles team. In keeping with consistency, I'm also av8rmike over there. However, there's no content to follow yet because I haven't imported anything.

Am I jumping ship? For the forseeable future, no. People have their reasons for leaving and their reasons for staying, and so far I have more reasons to stay. I will have to look into whether it's possible to cross-post once I start seriously playing with stuff, but so far I just haven't had that much time.

From the wiki (http://wiki.dwscoalition.org/notes/Dreamwidth.org:_Launch_timeline), goal for open beta is mid-April, depending on how quickly the beta-blocking bugs are fixed.
