WTFF?

I do not understand how these stupid podcasts work. I subscribed to three different ones last night through iTunes, downloaded them, and synced them to the iPod. I even checked several different times in the iPod menu that there were six items under the main podcast menu on the iPod. I was all set to listen to them here at work, when I go into the main menu and it tells me "no podcasts". They were just there last night, why the hell would it delete them? I thought Apple products were supposed to be user friendly. =(

I let iTunes automatically download podcasts, but I manually control putting them on the ipod. My ipod is only 4GB so I like to directly manage what I keep on there.

If the "Podcasts" directory is empty, try looking under "Songs" or "Artists" (if you know the artist tag of the podcast). I think that sometimes my ipod "forgets" that my podcasts should be listed under "Podcasts," but the files are still on there. It may have some flag that de-lists podcasts if I've already listened to them.

I eventually found them under "Recently Added", so the files weren't actually deleted. I know I didn't listen to/watch them in between downloading them and sitting at my desk at work.
