Just because I'm bored at work...
Out of sheer curiousity, I checked out the Valentine's community mentioned in the front page news for February. No messages left for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
av8rmike, but quite a few left for other people just referred to as "Mike". Things like "I've had a huge crush on you for three years now", and the like. I could only hope that if someone out there felt that strongly about me, they would be more direct about it. I'd hate to think there was someone pining after me that I was completely overlooking. G-d knows I've been on the opposite end enough times to know how upsetting it is, and to be too timid to do anything about it.
And NO, this isn't a plea for someone to go and post in there about me. I'd rather stay alone and unloved than be fucked with.
